Not my ideal of the Royal treatment
The first room they gave us - when we opened the door the TV was blaring. There was a food tray will dirty glasses sitting on the table. There was trash on top of the TV. The soap was open in the bathroom with the wrapper sitting on the counter and there were two bars of open and used soap in the shower. And it smelled of stale smoke although it was a non-smoking room. We immediately requested a new clean room and were promptly given the room next to the elevator and the ice machine - at least it was clean and there was a nice gift bag on the bed. In addition, the bed was comfortable
Don't try to order off of the room service menu as we did and after multiple selections were repeatedly told they could not or did not have anyway to make what was ordered or no longer an item they served - this included a patty melt, grilled shrimp, chicken fried steak and rice. Twice they brought up items that were not ordered and had to retrieve them. It took over 2 1/2 hours to bring up three entree's that they could make and after an employee came to the room with a bar menu since the one in the room was 'old and out of date'.
