My partner and I stayed at the Manila Hotel in April 2006. The stay was unpleasant to say the least. In the middle of the night, I was awakened by the bites of several cockroaches gnawing on my legs. In addition, there was unsightly mildew throughout the bathroom. We only stayed one night. Best advice, "stay away from the Manila Hotel!"
