The hotel was built in 1925 and needs a few things updated. The elevator took several minutes just to go up 8 floors. Very Slow. The carpet is worn, the beds are full size, not queen, and the pillows and bed are rock hard. The blankets are thin so ask for extra blankets when checking in. The bathroom was updated and nice. The rooms are very small which was ok because my husband and I did not have our children with us, which would have not worked. The staff was great and so was the shuttle service. Our room was clean and the view of Dailey Plaza/6th floor museum was beautiful! It's a great deal for the price and for a three star hotel. If your looking for a 5 star, which we stay in when traveling with our children, I would stay somewhere else. Can't complain for what we needed which was a hotel to sleep at for the night after attending Music Hall at Fairpark and not wanting to drive home. Parking is public and cost $10. The hotels underground parking is closed down.
