Wow, what to say. We dubbed this place, " The last resort - the place that time and maintenance forgo.t" Severely dated, which is okay as long as the place is clean. Our door had a hole in it, the carpet was ripped up, and it was NOT clean. The linens had holes in them and the beach consisted of a once sandy spot of land where there were the remains of a volleyball net. Speaking of nets, the tennis court may have been nice in its hayday, but that was 20 years ago easy. Back to the swimming area: it consisted of a set of concrete stairs inhabited by unfriendly geese. The nature trail was also a joke - the only thing natural was the the cacti with 3 inch long spikes and the massive fire ant family. Pools were not clean, keys didn't work, the "marina" consisted of a dock that had nails sticking up through the wood, and the sauna was inop. All of this and the place was extremely overpriced. If you want to stay on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, I would recommend staying at Willow Beach. It is a little dated as well, but it is reasonably priced and extremely clean. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE.
