Ideally situated in the centre of Valkenburg giving easy access to the Christmas Markets and town centre. However thats about as good as it gets. The service from the staff left much to be desired. They were surly and arrogant and at no time was our party ever made to feel welcome. We only ate in the restaurant once, this was not due to the quality of the food, which was reasonable, but due entirely to the service recieved. Prices in the bar were considerably higher than any of the other establishments in the town. The rooms were dirty and smelled of dampness and although the towels were changed each day they were damp and not particularly fresh. The heating appeared only to work on the day of arrival and not for the rest of our stay. (possibly because none of the guests staying at the hotel used the restaurant or bar)
This was the only Hotel/bar that was always empty in the evenings whilst we had to book tables in the others
