Beautiful and Great Location!

The Plaza is one of my first choices upon visiting New York. It is in a great location for shopping and sight-seeing. I would recommend this luxury hotel to any tourist who has the means to afford it. Immediately upon entering you are immersed in The Plaza's captivating charm. From the gold accents to the immense chandeliers, the hotel has every aspect of the decadent upper east side New York. The room we recieved at first did not meet our expectations, but the staff gladly gave us a new room. The rooms also captured the sense of luxury prevalent in the entrance. The beds were very comfortable and the shampoo and conditioner provided was designer, Hermes. The only aspect that marred our experience was the view from the window was of another building.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, the service was superb, and had a great ambiance; one of my favorite places to eat in New York. Contrary to the restaurant the tea room staff was impolite.
Overall I enjoyed the Plaza and would recommend it to friends.
