I am a 5-star Hotel person. I only chose this place because I decided to go to the Keys at the last minute. Based on the price, I wasn't expecting much. It turned out that that is what was so great about the place. It has everything you need, but nothing you don't. The in-keeper, Rich, is great, the room was clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was quiet and stress-free. You can have privacy if you want to stay in your room or you can hang by the pool, which is surrounded by the guest rooms. The gate is locked at 7 and they give you a key so you can come and go at any time. There was coffee and bagels in the morning and the location is great. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a low-key, no-frills, clean and comfortable place to stay for a very affordable rate.
