We arrived on Friday afternoon and went out for the day and evening. On Saturday morning we went to breakfast then out for the day. We left our purses in our room during breakfast. At our first stop I opened my wallet and Cash was missing !! Cash was also missing from one of my sister's wallets !! We informed Marie, the innkeeper when we returned. She was very surprised and said she would discuss with the person at the other inn they have. Nothing was said to us again and we left on Sunday. I called the Inn when we returned home to inquire about a reimbursement only to be told that Marie was not the owner and had no authority to do so. I asked to speak to the owner. Mr. Carrol called me and spent a great deal of time trying to convince we that we had either spent our money or did not know how much cash we had in our wallets. Not True. Who travels without knowing how much cash they are taking with them. When I did not accept his answers he got mean. Mr. Carrol's solution was for us to hire a polygrapher for $500.00 to test his employees if they would submit to the test. What a disappointing and upsetting experience this was. I would not stay there again.
