I called on a Wednesday to reserve a room for a week beginning on that next Saturday. I offered to pay up front with my debit card, but the manager stated that they do not accept debit cards, credit cards, or checks. Cash only. However, the manager assured me that he would have a room available for me at noon on Saturday. I drove 5 hours from Boise Idaho to Umatilla Oregon and arrived at the motel at noon. The manager stated that the owner made him rent the room to someone else. When I asked for the owners phone number, the manager told me to get off his property or he would call the police. I was left with no place to stay and I am contemplating suing this business for the hardship they caused me.
