I recently went to Kenya on safari and stayed at the Bamburi Beach Hotel for one night and I was quite impressed
The staff were reasonably helpful, but some were a bit miserable. However, the others, especially waiters/waitresses and the manager were very friendly.
The rooms were mainly clean and tidy, but the shower was a bit dodgy in both mine and my grandparent's room!
The room I had overlooked the swimming pool and bar; this was a lovely view, but the evening entertainment was very loud and made it difficult to sleep as it went on past 11pm.
The food was quite nice; it was a buffet. However we were only there for breakfast.
The evening entertainment was Masai dancing and music.
The Masai were excellent and there was a chance to have photographs taken with the warriors and an opportunity to buy Masai souvenirs.
The bar was lovely, and you could have a drink whilst watching the Masai perform.
Overall, this hotel was very good! However there are a few things that could be improved, but this goes for any hotel!
