Average hotel in a great location

The hotel itself was very average. Small rooms, small bathroom. However, the hotel is right on the beach which was great! The pool area was nice - but towels were left on all of the pool furniture at night to "reserve" a space. Therefore there was nowhere to sit in the morning. This practice should be discouraged and the towels should be picked up at night by the hotel staff.
The food at the restaurant was not very good. Would not recommend eating there. However, there are several good eating places withing walking distance of the hotel. Service at the bar and around the pool was very very slow. Order 2 at a time.
