The hotel had arranged to pick me up at the airport and sent three people to be sure they wouldn't miss. The Hotel is very well kept up, and the 30th floor breakfasts is very good (comes with the 'club level' rooms). For a conference, the rooms are a bit tight but OK for a group of about 400. Didn't sample the restaurants. A 10 min walk from the Bund, but next to the People's Park and right on the mall. This is a reasonable location for a reasonable price. There are better hotels but one pays for the better locations. The staff is very helpful.
