Comfort Suite, Columbus,Georgia
My Husband and I stayed in this motel March 28 Through March31. Our son is in the Military and was receiving a promotion so we drove from Minnesota to Georgia,i was very sure we would like the Comfort suite as i have always had good luck with them, We booked a room for these dates. We got there in the evening and the bathroom had not been cleaned, and i had to scrub the tub and toilet my self. the next day, i left a note saying that i had to clean, and would they please do so that day. when we returned it had not been cleaned. the bed was made but the bathroom floor was filthy. I said nothing but did have to take my towels to the cleaning lady and ask for new ones. I had just lost my father the 21st of march and burried him on thursday the 25th and really did not want to complain. The next day i was not feeling well, and asked the cleaning lady to just leave me clean towels and leave the room alone for that day, and i spent the day in the room. the next day, we were at my sons and when we returned, the beds had not been made, the towels were still all over the bathroom floor, and the bathroom floor was still filthy.
we went to the frot desk and told them we would go out for a while and could our room be cleaned. and hour and a half later we returned and the room had not been touched. I asked the young lady if i could at least get towels, and it took till evening to get them. I made out a review, and left it at the front but i am pretty sure it never reached corporate headquarters, as I never heard from them. It has not kept me from using Comfort Suits and Inns, as on our way back to Minnesota, we stayed in Effingham, Ill in a comfort suite and it was wonderful, and very clean. I am very insulted that I did not hear from the headquarts about my complaints. I now have to wonder if the evaluations we make out are ever read. Thank You, Marilyn Bloom
