A perfect vacation if what you want to do is relax. No TV's, no phones, just the perfect beach and the warm caribbean water. The staff is amazing, the service is wonderful and you can't beat the location, within walking distance to Playa del Carmen. This is not a huge, loud, spring break hotel, which we were very thankful for. Don't expect to see very many Americans walking around and do expect to see topless women. This is a quiet, eco-friendly vacation paradise. We are planning our next trip back! Highly, highly recommend. One thing to note, air-conditioned rooms are available but cost extra and there are only a handful of these rooms available. There are ceiling fans in each room and we found that it kept us cool enough at night. If you are sensitive to the heat, you may want to pay extra for the AC.
