Very Rude Service
The room was fair room, very small, and fairly expensive. Requiring 50% up front when reserving 1.5 years in advance is also outrageous. They boast LCD TVs on the website, but that is only in some rooms (not mine!). All of these things are easily overlooked when it comes to the daily "how rude can we be to our guests" contest that I witnessed over three days. I experienced this attitude with two different front desk staff. It seems as if guests should be honored to be at their hotel and kowtow to the management at every whim. Need something at Hotel Alcott? Well, you should learn to live without because that is what you are going to have to do!
