Terrible service not worth the cost.
I stayed at the Fairmont in April 07. I was amazed at the poor service I recieved. When I got off my cab there was no one at the front door to assist me with my bags. A lady was at the phone, didn't even acknowledge me. When I struggled with my bags to the front desk the staff at the desk were busy with there things, kept me waiting. When I finally got my chance the agent who was a tall blond lady very bluntly told me that my room was not ready and that she didn;t know when it would be ready. She asked me to check in later and to store my bags at the front door. She was unfriendly, and blunt.
Finally when I got my room there was a cot in the room that I did not need and it had 2 beds when I had asked for just one. I wish i was told about the same at check in. Felt like i had just been dumped into some room that was available and what I really wanted didn't even matter. I would never stay at the fairmont again cause the price they charge for everything little thing bisides the huge room rate is atrocious.
