The hotel is in the middle of the red-light district and very noisy all night long (6 days per week).The hotel is surrounded by brothels and drug dealers (who seem to be getting more aggressive, recently).
The beds are low quality, the bedding not the newest (I'm being polite) and the bathrooms are in need of repair.
I tried two different rooms in that hotel. Higher up the customers of the prostitutes on the streets are not quite as noisy as in the lower floors, but you cannot open the window at night and expect to sleep much.
The hotel staff is unfriendly and not helpful.
The hotel will not allow you to cancel the the reservation, once you checked in (refer to the song "Hotel California". )
Go at least on block away from this hotel. Rue de Berne is where I noticed the drug dealers (mainly African) and the prostitutes are pretty much all around the hotel.
This hotel should get maybe ONE star. Not FOUR, like they give themselves!
