I try to visit two to three times a year, everything is exquisite and if you ever get the opportunity - take advantage! My family has owned property there before the club was founded 30 or so years ago, when it was a small fishing village. Although the small fishing boats have been replaced with some of the worlds finest yachts the fishing is still (in my mind) some of the best in the country. And you never know who you will run into, many years ago when President Bush (father) was in office I had breakfast at the neighboring club (Anglers Club) when President Bush (current) sat down at the table next to us.
Unfortunately the club's hotel is for invited guests only so don't plan to show up and grab a room. But if a member ever extends you an invite...take them up on their offer, you can grab a Motel 6 any day, my mom calls Ocean Reef "Fantasy Island" for a reason.
