This place was Fab!
Not ever hearing of The Royal Plaza before this trip, I was a little aprehensive to stay here. I did my homework tho, and looked on the web at all of the reviews. There were mixed reviews, some really, good, some bad, but more good. I have to say, that every aspect of this hotel was absolutely perfect! The staff was very friendly, and very helpfull. We stayed in the tower room which I recommend. The room was so beautiful. I felt as if we were staying in a 200/night room. The beds were fluffy, and very, very comfortable. Did I say comforatble? The best! The bathroom had a shower, and a large garden tub. Also alot of counter space, with a seperate are for the toilet. The bathroom was huge, and everything looked very modern, and clean looking. Glassed in shower was nice instead of a curtain. The room was decorated very modern like and the room was very spacious. The room had a balcony, but not large enough to stand on, and the sliding glass door didnt open even if you wanted to. The pool and hot tub area were so beautiful. The landscape surrounding the whole pool area was very nicely done. They had a pool bar, and a sports bar. The people could not have been more friendly! We did not take the shuttle to any of the theme parks but i saw the bus there quite frequently. They say you could walk to downtown Disney, I guess that is true, if you are athletic. In the heat, and the length of downtown disney once you get there, I will take a car thank you. Positives: Nice friendly staff, beautiful rooms, and very good food.
Negatives: Not as close to DT Disney as the hotel makes you believe, and check in time is not till 4....they would not let us get in any earlier.
