Would definitely return, but parking can be a pain

My husband and I stayed at the Ilima in November 2004. The room was very large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable (not something we often experience at hotels). I enjoyed the whirlpool tub after spending long days walking! The kitchen facilities and supplies were adequate, and we fixed our own meals frequently (there is a full-service grocery store about 2-3 blocks away). The pool was small, as stated, but pleasant and not crowded like the beaches! The housekeeping staff and front desk staff were very helpful and competent. My only major complaint was about the parking. We always were able to park in the garage, but it was a challenge to get in and out of the spaces. There aren't really enough, and they're really tight. Also, the TV's aren't very large (19"), but we didn't go to Hawaii to watch TV!! Overall, we were very satisfied, and I would return to the Ilima in a heartbeat. Excellent value for the money.
