I thought it was wonderful

First off, Key West is like no other place you have ever been. The mood is uber laid back and people there are extremely outgoing and accepting of everyone. The Key Lodge offers a fantastic location on Duvall Street at an affordable price for Key West. Yes, the rooms are not that of a Las Vegas supermotel, but they are clean, nice sized and have amendities such as AC, a mini fridge, and cable. Don't go in thinking this is a 4 star ultra hotel, because it's not. It's a clean, comfortable, and pleasant place to stay without all the frills. I was there with my sister and Mom (for a girls weekend). The pool is pretty much secluded so you don't feel you have to impress anyone. We found laying out at the pool so relaxing! The staff is outstanding! I can't say I have been more impressed with staff at any other hotel. Roosters: Key West is filled with them, they are protected, they are everywhere. Rooster's run wild everywhere, so do some cats... get used to it.. or don't come here. The point is, you come to Key West for a good time, for loosing track of what you left back home. You make your own fun. Key Lodge offers affordability, in the right spot, and clean accomodations that your not going to be in 24-7 anyway!!!
