Talk about Southern hospitality...The entire staff, from the valet to the housekeeper, was as friendly and helpful as could be. The concierge was extremely knowledgable about the city, and gave us a good deal of assistance and advice.
The location was incredible. We never even took our car out until the third day. There was so much to do and see, all within a short walking distance. The local restaurants were incredible, with the Penninsula Grill topping the list.
We had a huge suite, with a balcony overlooking the city. What a treat. And speaking of treats, the complimentary champagne and lady fingers, wine and cheese buffet, warm cookies at night, iced tea bar with candy...perfect. The continental breakfast was a delight, offering a wide selection of breakfast fare. Elegant! I would go back in a heartbeat.
