Don't waste your time.
I reserved a room at Hotel Blue on my credit card for my sister and brother in law. Since my brother in law had had his wallet stolen just prior to stopping at Hotel Blue he was extremely grateful for my help. Upon their arrival the hotel staff demanded an additional $200 cash deposit in addition to the protection my credit card afforded them because they wanted to pay cash. I called the office the next day and talked to a gentleman by the name of Sineal (sp?) and he said that this policy is listed on their web site. Whether or not it's listed is irrelevent, this sort of policy is absurd. If there was any damage to the room they have every right to take it directly off my credit card and they know it. To try and force a person to hand over $200 cash in addition to a credit card is not only dishonest but downright rude. I apologize to my sister and brother in law for the treatment they received at Hotel Blue.
