great R and R
the location must have been a place where the desert nomads stopped to rest prior to descending into the coachella valley. it is a natural geological shelf with the hills behind and the expansive valley in front with a
view of the 10k ft san jacinto mountain.
the feeling of consistency is all around. it is an aesthetic that is transparent to the experience of the desert, my friend felt it was 'less than visible', at first, until you look a second time. the waters are special
in DHS, as well.
i travel a lot for business so it was great to not be
tempted to watch TV or listen to music. it does have internet if i wanted to stay in contact, but for two days i did not use it. plus it has good pillows.
compared to the price of hotels while on the road, i thought this was a bargain.
