My wife and I were attacked at the front door, by a group of reckless thugs. My wife was severely beaten, I tried to defend us against several people. The Golden Nugget told us to never come back, and would give us no names, information, or release tapes (even when subpoenaed by the court). In fear of publicity, the Metro Police Dept. and the Casino kept this incident a secret, by instilling fear (by both a police Seargent and a security head). Do not get into trouble, and especially do become a victim there; it was like a nightmare in the movies. I beleive it is a crooked place; however, with several trips and my relentless quest for justice, we were able to make one conviction. The head of security told me to just "stay in California, where you will be safe".... Are you kidding me, a life threat? When I asked the P.O. on call to press charges, he said "don't go there, just go home and take it as a learning lesson of night life". Integrity at it's finest. Keep it up Golden Nugget, I wish you biker gangs.
