Too high priced for quality.

We stayed there while moving to the area. The Edgewater is a very average hotel. They charge too much- especially in the winter. Their location is not as you would imagine- It is on a slough, not the bay. The view is of businesses on the other side of the slough. It is at least 40 miutes away from the beaches, parks or golf courses they say are nearby. If you are in Coos Bay, I'd reccommend The Mill Casino hotel. It actually is bayfront property, and the service is great.
