I can't quite put my families stay in words. It was like a bad episode of MTV Punk'd. I kept thinking a candid camera crew would jump out and say they were just kidding. The hotel night club stayed open until 2:30 pm pumping & thumping music up into our room. We had to be up early and they had NO respect for the clients sleeping. It was something I've never experienced at a hotel. It was a complete disrespect for those paying to stay there. I couldn't believe this was Howard Johnson's. I guess that company has just gone down hill over the years.
On both Friday and Saturday night we got no sleep. We tried moving hotels, but all others were full by Saturday morning. On Sunday night we moved to a different hotel in Sheboygan and it was awesome.
Finally, Howard Johnson's serviced us outdated spoiled milk for breakfast, along with bread with mold on it. Of course, we didn't catch it until our kids had already eaten 1/2 of their cereal. There was absolutely no apology from the morning worker who had put the mild out. It almost seemed as if they were doing all of these bad things on purpose.
Once again, it is just too strange to believe. I think this place should be shut down. If the owner wants a night club, fine, but don't try to do both because your LOUD music keeps everyone up. You can't have the best of both worlds!
