We stayed at the Park Hotel last Nov. to early Dec. It has everything you could want(ok maybe not a huge guest room but it's Tokyo!)
We loved the fact that the hotel is close to the subway and to the Shimbashi JR line. There are great shops and restaurants close by, the staff was courteous and knowledgeable(they spoke perfect english) and didn't seem to mind our (i'm sure) butchering of the Japanese language.
The lobby of the hotel is beautiful, the jazz in the lounge was great and the hotel rooms were nicely decorated, with wonderful views. We loved the Park Hotel so much we're going back in August 2007 and staying even longer. I highly recommend this hotel...for those interested the minibar prices were very cheap :)
