Second visit for us, having been married at the resort 2 years ago. The whole experience was just as we remembered... lovely !
I can't understand the comments of the visitor from October '05;
This place is the best place on earth... yes, you are expected to eat at a set dinner time (there are only usually 20 or so people in the resort, so how the hell can you expect to have "major resort" type catering "as and when" for such a small number?) Meal times are part of the quaint experience in this place; mix amongst the other guests if you wish, or sit alone together if you prefer. Just tell the staff and they'll cater.
Diving is fantastic, and I never felt "pressured" into diving when I decided to take a day off; although I can imagine there being some enquiries if you paid for a dive pack and then didn't use it! (who would do that unless they had more money than sense?)
As for the staff attitude, it was superb and the owner is forthright; polite and amiable. However, like most people I imagine he would be different if confronted by rude ignorant customers that this place simply doesnt need.
In a nutshell; fab place that should continue to cater for the 99% of its customers that are reasonable people.
