Lack of guest service
For a hotel that's well-regarded on other travel websites, I found their staff to not care about prospective guests.
It took three emails before I received a terse reply about a reservation inquiry. Nothing was the matter with my email server so it was just the hotel staff choosing not to reply until they felt like it.
I requested more information about their apartments and resent my email twice and have yet to receive a reply.
It comes as no surprise that a recent guest wrote comments on another travel site about his lack of guest service during his stay.
Needless to say this hotel seems to be too popular as it's also mentioned in one guidebook whose author is famous in the area.
I suppose they have too much business that they could care less.
