Awful Customer Service
My wife and I just spent one extremely disappointing night at the Raleigh and it was 24 hours too many. The room was extremely noisy with banging heard through the walls at 1 and 2am. When I brought this to the attention of the manager the following day, I received, "It's probably just the kitchen. Thanks for for letting us know." No apology, no "how can I make this right?" Earlier that same night, we were treated rudely by the night manager who didn't even know about her own hotel's services and amenities. Her response to our inquiries was, "I don't know what goes on during the day." Their own website says that they hire based on attitude. Apparently, this includes turning your backs on customers in the middle of a conversation and being completely rude, dismissive, and ill-informed. I almost never write bad reviews, but this one feels like a public service.
